I'm pleased to announce a completely new slate of seminars for 2013-2014 to help you, your company and managers to harness the power of performance management. Seminars are based on my best selling books on the subject, but I customize everything to suit you specific need.

For many training in performance management feels like an "oh, no, that again" experience. Most of it is just a reiteration of the same things that everyone has heard for decades.

My work in the field has convinced me that we need to revitalize our review and management procedures to reflect the changes in the workplace over the last two decades.

I promise you something different. Because the "collective we" knows how to get value from performance management and reviews, and I will teach you and your people how to do it.

The Performance Review - Thinking Outside The Box

After 25 years in the field, I'm convinced the ONLY way companies, managers and employees can get value out of performance reviews is to stop relying on the corporate tools, and augment them with tried and proven methods that improve productivity and employee engagement. It's an old hack of a saying, but we really need to get "out of the box" our existing tools place on us.

In this highly interactive half-day seminar, we go through a process that:

  • Defines what managers want and expect from their employees.
  • Examines the link between managing performance, employee reviews, and creating the "ideal employees".
  • Encourages managers to define what they want the review to accomplish.
  • Provides the essential managerial best practices that actually improve productivity, increase employee engagement, and actually create more time for managers to do other things by avoiding the need for problem and micro management.

At conclusion of the seminar, each manager will have prepared an action plan to follow for reviews, communication, and clarifying expectations that WORKS.
