Customization Means Meeting YOUR Requirements
For twenty years, I've stuck firmly to the principle: "If my clients pay me good money for help, they deserve a custom-designed process." Whether it's for training, keynote speaking or consulting, we don't "pull something off the shelf", and deliver it. It doesn't make sense.
Everything we do is based on up-front work with you to define what you need, and to ensure that what we deliver has a good chance of getting you to your corporate or managerial goals. It's how we do it. We've never done canned courses, or speaking engagements, and we never will.
We don't charge you extra to customize what we deliver. Why would we charge "x" dollars for absolutely useless canned deliveries, and charge you "x+x" dollars for the really good stuff (custom work)? That doesn't make sense, either.
How We Customize Our Performance Management Speaking, Training and Consulting
It's pretty simple. First, we consider all requests for help as consulting interventions. That is, it's our role to identify (with you) what will work for YOU, so you meet your goals, then design something for you, and deliver it. It's NOT our role to "sell" you anything.
Second, because we believe everything we do should be consultative, we spend time up-front with you first to identify whether we can help (sometimes we can't), and how we can best help in a cost-effective way.
Third, we use the information we get from you during the up-front work to design what we feel will best help you and build processes based on what we've learned. We work WITH you to solve problems, and that's the core of a consultative relationship.
